AIR DRY
dry dust suppression cabin

Suction cabin with dry technology provided with water and oil proof filtering sleeves that give longer life time. Thanks to self-cleaning system, controlled by a PLC, the dust entrapped on the filters is released into the drawers on the bottom of the machine. Powerful fan motors installed and the large front grid, permit an efficient and homogenous aspiration for all machine front surface.

The large front grid, permit an efficient and homogenous aspiration on all machine front surface. Machine suitable for any type of work, be it on a workbench, workstand, or for statues. Suitable for stone dust, concrete, glass, wood, metals. ATEX / HAZLOC also available on demand.

The aspirated dust is intercepted from the filter sleeves and knocked down into the collection drawers located at the bottom of the machine by means of a powerful shot of air inside the sleeves. The air released of this dust collector is depurated at almost 100%.

FAQ

Cabin or bench, which dry dust system is better?

The suction workbench is particularly suitable for all construction works because the removal of dust is almost immediate, while the cabin is more suitable for works of various kinds such as sculptors, large kitchens, or for those used to working with mobile benches or on a frame. For those with limited space, the Cabin takes up less space than the counter.

Is the dry or water dust system better?

Dry because the air is forced through a certified filter. Microns are controlled.

Why are water walls still manufactured?

For certain works and materials, water atomization systems are more suitable. It is a cheaper system and has good suction power performance.

How much more does dry dust system purify than water wall system?

The dry system approaches 100% constant, while the water system ≤ 85 % in relation to the dust load and the quality/purity of the water at the given moment.

What are the advantages of a dry dust system?

Greater individual and work environment protection, it does not generate humidity as with water systems.

When should I change the filters?

The filters must be replaced when one or more of them is damaged or when the machine is no longer able to guarantee the original suction power. The timing for replacement varies in relation to various factors, can range from 2 to 5 years with a correct maintenance. After this date, the natural aging of the filter gradually decrease the suction performance.

Does it get clogged easily?

It is water repellent and contains polyethylene, that it does not fear humidity.
Italmecc machines can also be installed outside. However the filter can become clogged if there has been negligence on the part of the operator.

Where does the air discharge?

From the roof of the machine by means of two motor fans.

Can I discharge the air inside the workshop?

Certainly, the machine was designed for that purpose. In some regions this may be called into question due to the regulations in that area. It is advisable to inquire before purchasing to understand if it is not possible to discharge the air outside the workshop in order to avoid troubles.

If I duct the air outside, I spend more on heating?

The air, picking up speed, loses its heat. Therefore, once returned to the workplace, it will still play against it. By discharging the air outside, a better air exchange is created, especially in humid environments.

Where do I throw the dust out of the drawers?

They must be disposed of together with processing waste.

How many BAR (PSI) of compressed air does it need?

6-7 Bar (87-100 PSI). Important : with dryer on board the compressor.

How far does the dry dust collector aspire?

Closer you are, better it works. The supplied plastic extensions are needed to better concentrate the suction power by reducing the dissipation of dust in the work environment and to extend its attraction. You can add more extension modules, including telescopic ones, up to a maximum of 3 meters depth. The machine with the standard extension (one meter deep)is able to attract dust with a decent capacity up to two meters from the front of the machine.

What dynamic of dust attraction does it have?

After careful practical studies carried out in collaboration with the German inspection office which certifies its approval for the distribution in the German market, it was decided to create these loopholes distributed at head height because they are more effective than the more traditional methods with suction from below. The powders are then attracted in a homogeneous way on the whole face of the machine dragging them away from the operator more quickly.

How do you clean it?

Through an automatic PLC-controlled system that controls blowing tubes that shoot compressed air inside the single chambers of filter sleeves.

Can the machine work in an explosive environment?

Yes, but some security changes will need to be made. Extra cost apart.

What materials can I suck up?

Stones and derivatives, cement, glass, plastics and derivatives, wood, metals, sandblasting powders.

Can it aspirate in the presence of water vapors from water tools?

Yes, as long as not too close to the filters. If you work frequently in such conditions, you will have to carry out more automatic cleaning cycles and wash the bag filters more frequently as these can become clogged more frequently.
