HISTORY AND EVOLUTION OF ITALMECC LOGO

The logo usually presents the history of the company, with its emblem reflecting the path the company has taken since its foundation.
Over the decades, Italmecc has harmonized its logo in relation to the evolution of the company, as well as the necessary changes due to the needs of both commercial strategy and design that modernizes over time.

Let's then retrace the evolution of the logo:

At first, the logo appeared in the shape of a rectangular shield.
The shield is intended to protect against dust because the company was born precisely for the production of dust extractors to protect the operator's health. (These dust collectors were initially designed for their own use purely inside the marble processing workshop that the founder led, heir to a long family tradition that has been working in the stone industry for 9 generations).
At the center we find the colors black and white, a symbol of the character and culture desired for this company, that is to put things white on black, without shades, without approximations.
This is the meaning of concreteness and honesty that the company places as its cornerstone.
On the outside there was a red frame to emphasize the energy and passion, while in the center of the logo an S (the initial letter of the founder's name, Severino) inverted in a mirror, which is the initial of his signature. This is to symbolize that the company reflects its personality and that of the generations that preceded it.

In 2011 we decided to break down the logo from the shield shape to a more elongated shape by placing the second half of the Mecc logo on the right side, so that it was more easily readable.
This decision was made mainly due to the progressive digital increase as the shield logo, when viewed from a smartphone, was difficult to read.
The red profile of the external frame was then removed, while the central S evolved into a more sinuous wave that symbolized the motion of the wind and above all that of water, a sector in which Italmecc had been investing substantially with systems for over 10 years. increasingly innovative for waste water recycling.

In 2016 the company opened a branch in Canada to follow the important North American market developed in previous decades more closely.

It therefore creates a flag attached to the logo for the Canadian market, where it is based, and one for the American market, where a sorting point for its machinery and systems has been established.

2022 is the son of a great global change, a veteran of the covid / sars-19 pandemic, the 20s and 21s of the twenty-first century are characterized by a great and sudden technological advance, especially from the IT point of view.
For this reason, the logo which was previously the direct evolution of a style born in the 80s, suddenly becomes obsolete. Meanwhile, the company now matures in the wastewater treatment sector and has become a point of reference also in the dust treatment sector, therefore needs to express itself in a more intuitive way.

Hence the new logo, completely revolutionized, which only needs a glance to understand the brand's mission.

At the center is the Italmecc name, again in black on a white background, but with a cleaner and more linear font.
To wrap the logo in a sinuous way, underlining the ecological company path aimed at controlling water and air, blue was chosen for the water and white for the air, in a shape that evokes its movement.
